TACKY Tour is Saturday, April 13, 2019!
The popular Hastings Kiwanis TACKY Tour is back!
Last year we raised enough money to buy quality bicycles, helmets and locks for 12 kids!
- Registration is 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. at Central Community College in Hastings.

Break out the polyester suits and neon bike shorts as we tour the quiet, paved roads of Adams County while raising money to provide bikes and helmets to children in Adams County, thanks to a partnership with Healthy Hastings.
Open to all ages, the TACKY Tour is a fun, non-competitive bike ride with distances of 10, 22, 31 or 52 miles.
While riding, listen for the barks from the prairie dog town as you pass by take in the sights of the former Naval Ammunition Depot with its historic brick buildings and row after row of storage bunkers. the largest naval munitions plant during WWII, it produced more than 40% of the U.S. Navy’s munitions during the height of the war.
Must be done online or postmarked on or before April 1; includes t-shirt.
After April 1 and Day of Tour: $25
Does not include a t-shirt.
Fee includes fully supported rest stops and an after-ride meal!

Directions: Take Exit 312 from I-80. Turn South on Hwy 281 for about 13 miles. Turn Left (East) onto 42nd St./281 Bypass. Follow the Bypass as it turns South after 1.5 miles and continue South for 3 miles until you reach the stoplight at Hwy 6.
Turn Left (East) onto Hwy 6 and go about 1.5 miles. Look for the green CCC sign on your right. Turn Right (South) onto Technical Blvd. Turn Right (West) at the second roundabout onto E Community Drive Look for parking on your left.
After the Ride
Join us for a post-ride meal served 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additional meals can be purchased for your family and friends who may not have participated in the ride. A vegetarian option will be available.
Helmets are required. Roads are open to traffic, so please obey all traffic and safety rules. All riders must sign a waiver at registration. Riders under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.
